Former Barclays employee charged with killing his ex-girlfriend
The former Barclays employee who was charged with murdering his ex has pleaded not guilty to the killing.
Michael O’Leary, 26, pleaded not out of fear for his life and did not have a lawyer.
The case against him has been adjourned until April 30.
The case against O’Malley is continuing.
He faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
O’Leary was charged in the death of his former girlfriend, Natasha Sousa, on January 19, 2019.
Soussa was stabbed to death in front of her parents in the parking lot of a Barneys outlet in Miami Beach, Florida.
Oleg Olegovich, who was also charged with murder, was arrested in July 2018 and has been in custody since then.
He faces up the possibility of life in prison without the possibility for parole.
